Full professor at the School of Library and Information Science (University of Montreal).
Dominic Forest, Professor at the School of Library and Information Science of the University of Montreal, specialises in data science and, more specifically, in text mining in the context of Digital Humanities and Information Studies. He possesses advanced knowledge of extraction and data organisation techniques from text documents. His research interests sit at the junction between cognitive computer science, data science and digital humanities. As part of his research, he has developed and validated multiple methods of text mining based on machine learning algorithms (mainly neural networks) to assist in different corpus-organising tasks.
